Looking for clarity on how to leverage your interests, skills, values, and strengths in your career planning?

The Career & Life Design Immersion is a 9-week program combining in-class workshop experiences and employer-based projects to help you move from self-understanding to real-world action. Rather than expecting you to have everything figured out, the program emphasizes exploration, reflection, and learning by doing.

Over the course of the program, you’ll engage in Odyssey Planning, strengths and values reflection, networking and informational conversations, AI-supported exploration strategies, and many other practical tools and approaches to explore multiple possible career paths. You’ll also strengthen how you talk about your experiences and evolving goals in professional contexts, along with practical materials to support your ongoing career development, and prototyping your most exciting ideas.

Throughout the program, you’ll work in small teams on real-world employer projects that run in parallel with weekly workshops, allowing you to develop your skills and strengths in action. Apply design thinking to support local organizations and businesses on specific projects, while reflecting on what you’re learning about yourself, your skills, and your interests along the way.

You don’t need a defined career goal to participate. If you’re curious, open to exploration, and ready to take your next steps more intentionally, this program is for you.

  • Nine‑week, hands‑on experience with weekly 1½‑hour workshops each Thursday (12:30-2:00 PM) in our modern workshop space at 63 South St starting the first week of each term.
  • Real‑world impact through employer‑based projects that run alongside the classroom curriculum, giving you portfolio‑ready work and direct industry exposure.
  • $250 Program Completion Award for students who meet all completion eligibility requirements
  • All‑included perks: Free copy of Designing Your Life (Bill Burnett & Dave Evans) to keep your inspiration flowing.
  • Small, focused cohort: only 20‑25 participants (with a wait-list) to ensure tight mentorship and networking opportunities.
