Exploratory Career Community

Welcome to the Exploratory Career Community, a place for students to explore their interests, build on their strengths and values, and investigate career paths. Whether you’re a first year just arriving on campus or a senior considering your next steps, this community exists as a supportive space for you to think critically about what’s meaningful to you and build a plan to explore your options.

Career exploration is one of the most popular topics discussed in coaching appointments at the Center for Career Design. While some students may come to Dartmouth with a clear idea of what they want to do post-graduation and how they want to get there, many more use their experiences as an undergrad to inform their choice of a career path–and change their mind plenty of times along the way!

Exploring your interests, weighing your options, and changing your mind in the world of work are all normal and important parts of the career design process, and each step brings you closer to designing a career path that is right for you. No matter your major, background, or school year, we encourage you to join the Exploratory community to help you embrace the exploration and discovery process and ignite your curiosity.

Joining the Exploratory Career Community is simple and takes less than two minutes. Sign up today! You can join as many career communities as you’d like, and each community offers:
