Sophomore Summer Career and Life Design Program

Make significant strides in your career planning through the Center for Career Design’s Sophomore Summer Program!Shaped by designing thinking principles developed at Stanford and taught by the Center for Career Design’s Career Coaches and Executive Director, the Sophomore Summer Program teaches students to apply design thinking to their career planning process resulting in a personal career success plan.  During the second half of the program, students will gain firsthand experience applying design thinking to real-world problems working in small teams on projects supporting local Upper Valley nonprofits.Copies of the textbook will be provided to students free of charge: Designing Your Life: How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans.Additional details: Program capacity: 20 studentsTime commitment: 
Sessions meet Tuesdays beginning Tues., July 1st – Tues., Aug. 26th from 12:15-1:45 PM.
Small group employer projects take place the last four weeks of the program; time to work on projects will be given during the regularly scheduled program hours in addition to any outside coordination needed between students & employers to complete the project.
