After graduating in finance from the University of Louisville, Leyou worked in corporate training and development at Allstate Insurance. There, Leyou facilitated learning sessions on career paths and leadership for 1000+ employees in the Southern Region. She then began pursuing her MBA while working for Admissions at Sullivan University in Louisville, KY. From there, Leyou worked in Employer Relations for the Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies candidates. In this role, she delivered presentations related to career readiness, such as resumes and networking, and cultivated many relationships with employers in the community. She lives by Verna Myers’ quote that “diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance” and strives to show that through her work. With over seven years of experience working in higher education career services at New England College and Oregon State University – Cascades, Meghan is a career development professional passionate about helping college students navigate their unique pathways from college to career. A former recruiter, she is familiar with a wide variety of career pathways and is uniquely positioned to share a “behind the scenes” look at the hiring process, helping take the mystery out of job searching while inspiring confidence. Over the span of her career in higher education, Meghan has developed and taught three undergraduate and graduate-level courses on career planning, job search strategies, and professional skill development; and specializes in career and major exploration, resume development, interview preparation, personal branding, and career services programming. She believes strongly that intentional self-reflection is at the heart of all career planning activities, and is eager to support all Dartmouth students in achieving their personal and professional goals. An avid adventurer, Meghan enjoys snowboarding, hiking and backpacking her way through the NH 48 four-thousand footers, watching live music, and traveling with her family.

With 20 years of experience in higher education as an art professor, faculty member, student mentor, and advisor at The University of Alabama and Russell Sage College, Chris utilizes a student-centered approach that acknowledges the whole person, placing emphasis on personal vision, values, and goals. He brings familiarity with alternative career pathways, having been steeped in a liberal arts background both personally and professionally. In addition to helping students achieve their goals, Chris is an exhibiting artist and a published author. His book, “Nowhere in Place,” explores the intersection of photography and meditation. Before his career in higher education, he wore a wide range of professional hats in the Greater Boston Area including working for Parthenon, PG Media Group, and Polaroid. For hobbies, Chris enjoys the great outdoors and holding down the groove on electric bass guitar. Chris is excited to coach all students in whatever capacity best supports their personal career journeys.
Taylor Pichette

Taylor is the Assistant Director and Career Coach for the Government, Law, and Policy Career Community at the Center for Career Design. Taylor brings experience working with students and public policy in New England and Washington D.C.
Taylor is an experienced government and policy professional with a history of working at the intersection of education, government and industry. Taylor spent more than ten years working with the New England Council in Washington, DC, where he focused on education policy for the New England region. Taylor also led the New England Council’s working groups on technology, trade and advanced manufacturing.
Prior to joining the Center for Career Design, Taylor led events, internships and fellowships for the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy at Dartmouth, where he spearheaded the “Path to the Presidency” event series, the First-Year Fellows program in Washington DC, and internship guidance and funding programs.
Taylor previously worked with Northstar Recycling, managing contracts for large food manufacturers. In this capacity, he focused on compliance with new laws regarding sustainability. Taylor also has experience with economic development grants and strategic management, having consulted a variety of nonprofit and for-profit partners.
Taylor graduated from Northeastern University with a BA in Political Science and International Affairs, and from the George Washington University with a Master’s in Business Administration. He enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, live music, art, and yoga. Taylor is originally from Westhampton, MA and now lives in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

Joe Catrino joins Dartmouth as the inaugural executive director of the Dartmouth Center for Career Design.
Joe brings his expertise in integrating design thinking into career services to support Dartmouth community members in preparing for wide-ranging career paths. Embracing a visionary approach about career design, he leads an expanding team of dedicated professionals who are committed to empowering students and others as they identify their key strengths, build professional skills, and explore career possibilities. In addition to supporting students, the Center will also grow alumni engagement to create continued opportunities for personal and professional development beyond Dartmouth.
Most recently, Joe served as executive director of Career & Life Design at Trinity College, where he launched a design ecosystem and innovative programs to help individuals apply design thinking principles to navigate their professional journeys. This includes career exploration, skill development, job transitions, and long-term career planning. As a thought leader in this field, Joe also taught a course called Designing Your Future Work and initiated new programs to equip participants with the mindset and tools to shape a fulfilling career path that aligns with their strengths, values, and aspirations.
Joe is a passionate advocate for student success and lifelong career innovation, frequently presenting at national conferences on design thinking, personal branding, and the future of work. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Joe draws from experience in admissions and enrollment, marketing, career development, and teaching in his previous roles at Quinnipiac University, Yale University, and the University of Hartford.
He is currently pursuing his PhD in instructional systems and workforce development from Mississippi State University. He holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University, an MA in communication from the University of Hartford, and a BA in history with a minor in communications and public relations from Marist College.

Janice Williams, Director of Career & Life Design Coaching at the Dartmouth Center for Career Design, leads a team dedicated to embedding personalized, design-thinking-based career coaching into the student experience. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, including roles at Dartmouth, Williams College, and The University of Texas at Austin, Janice brings a student-centered, equity-driven approach to career development and life design. She holds two Master’s degrees from UT Austin—one in Human Dimensions of Organizations and the other in Higher Education Leadership—and completed the Stanford Life Design Lab training for university educators in 2024.
A proud first-generation, low-income (FGLI) Dartmouth alumna, Janice previously served as the Associate Director of Dartmouth’s First-Generation Office (FGO), where she designed and led the Prepare to Launch (P2L) Program, providing coaching, mentorship, and industry connections to hundreds of first-generation students. Her work applied design-thinking principles and CliftonStrengths to help students create intentional career paths aligned with their values. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Dean for Senior Students at Williams College, advising first-generation seniors on academic and post-graduate success. She also directed a nationally recognized student success program at UT Austin and worked at Google, where she recruited top engineering talent—experience that continues to inform her approach in helping students articulate their strengths and secure meaningful opportunities.
In her new role at Center for Career Design, Janice is excited to guide students through the process of designing careers and lives of purpose, clarity, and impact, empowering them to embrace the journey of creating lives they love.
Rick DelVecchio

Rick DelVecchio is a leader with over 19 years of experience advancing innovation and operational excellence in career development. His diverse career—spanning professional sports, small business, and academia—positions him uniquely to lead cross-functional teams and drive student-centered innovation.
Most recently, Rick served as Director of Career Development for the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University, where he designed and led the implementation of the nationally recognized “360 Degree Advising” model. This faculty-driven, student-centered framework seamlessly integrates academic advising, experiential learning, and career development—creating scalable infrastructure that connects over 100 faculty and 25 academic departments to students’ purpose and professional readiness. The initiative sparked significant cultural change and has been recognized as a model for connecting liberal arts education with workforce outcomes.
Rick is a passionate advocate for life design programming and human-centered career development. He has designed and taught multiple life design-based career courses and workshops, redesigned curriculum for undeclared students using life design principles, and co-developed Designing Your Faculty Life, a faculty professional development event focused on balancing work, life, and purpose. His work helped catalyze a new university-wide career education framework and the launch of a successful first-year life design course.
Earlier in his career, Rick served for nine years as Director of Career Placement at Sacred Heart University, where he oversaw strategic initiatives that doubled employer engagement and tripled job postings. He managed career programming and operations, created revenue-generating sponsorships, and chaired the university’s corporate relations committee. Prior to entering higher education, Rick spent a decade in professional sports management, leading operations, marketing, business development, and community engagement—while also founding and operating two successful small businesses.
Rick is a trusted contributor to strategic planning efforts across campus and professional communities and has served in multiple elected leadership roles with the Connecticut Career Consortium (CCC), the Association of University Career Center Communication Professionals (AU3CP), and national task forces with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
Rick holds a B.A. in History from the University of Notre Dame, an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University, and is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW). Outside of work, he enjoys drumming in a ’90s rock band, photography, and camping with his wife and two golden retrievers.

Joe Hayes serves as Director of External Partnerships and Special Projects at Dartmouth College’s Center for Career Design, where he leads strategy for employer, alumni, and family supporter engagement. With nearly 20 years of experience spanning consulting and career education at both private and public institutions, Joe is recognized for creating and scaling innovative programs that drive student success and institutional impact.
Before joining Dartmouth, Joe held roles at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Connecticut College – where he advanced outcomes, strengthened employer partnerships, and launched design-inspired initiatives to enhance student engagement. Earlier in his career, he worked in consulting – focusing on operations, recruiting, and organizational growth.
A frequent national presenter and recipient of multiple awards, Joe subscribes to his own “theory of refraction,” where reflection, relationships, and action intersect – creating a winning formula for career success. He holds an MBA and a BS in Political Science.
Anne Lyford

Anne oversees the Employer Relations team for the office. Anne enjoys building and maintaining relationships with employers from across industries, implementing creative and innovative ways to connect students and employers, and educating students and partners on recruiting trends.
Prior to Dartmouth, Anne worked at Duke University’s Career Center for 13 years and most recently managed the Employer Relations team for nine years. She has also worked at the University of Miami and North Carolina State University’s Career Centers providing career guidance to undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni.
Anne has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Education in Counselor Education. As a former college tennis player, Anne continues to enjoy competing through the United States Tennis Association and is a Certified Personal Trainer.

Dave serves as a primary contact for employer inquiries on effective ways to hire students. Prior to joining Dartmouth College, he managed a veterinary hospital, supported operations at an educational publishing company, dispatched rides for Americans with Disabilities at a public transit organization, as well as being a DJ on his hometown radio stations for a number of years. Dave was born and raised in local Enfield, NH and attended Syracuse University with a pursuit in Fine Arts: Music History & Cultures and Music Industry. In addition, he has lived in Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA in his thirst to experience as much as life gives him. His love for the mountains and lush forests drew him back as he reaches to complete the New England four-thousand footers, which he aims to finish with his dog, Denali.

Catherine Darragh ’13 is the Associate Director of Programming, Operations, and Marketing at the Dartmouth Center for Career Design. In this role, she leads the development and delivery of high‑impact career programs and logistics for students, alumni, and families; fosters cross‑campus partnerships to enhance collaboration; and streamlines operations to ensure effective, inclusive access to career design resources.
Previously, Catherine served in Dartmouth Advancement on the Conferences & Events and Alumni Relations teams, where she organized dedications and major institutional events, contributed as a project lead to the College’s COVID‑19 reopening efforts, and built engaging programs that connect alumni—including the Dartmouth Book Club, regional networking initiatives, and the award‑winning 50 for 50 storytelling project. Her early career in theater and events management sharpened her strengths in operations, stakeholder coordination, and creative problem‑solving.
Catherine holds an MBA from the University of Southern Maine and a BA from Dartmouth in Theater and Classical Archaeology. She earned the David Birney Award for Excellence in the Theatre Arts and helped lead the “Diverse Voices: The 50 for 50 Storytelling Project,” recognized with a Best of District I Award in 2024. She brings a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging to all of her work.
Beyond the office, Catherine continues to stage manage at local theaters, serves on the Dartmouth Club of the Upper Valley board, and enjoys “stress baking” gluten‑free treats for friends and family. A long‑time member of the celiac/gluten‑free community, she loves connecting around volunteerism, the arts, and accessible, joyful food.
Amy Tietjen Smith

Seth brings over two decades of experience in higher education, blending his expertise in architecture, education, and entrepreneurship to enhance student success. As the Program Manager for the Dartmouth Center for Career Design’s Career Lab, Seth is dedicated to integrating his design background into guiding students in crafting meaningful and strategic career paths. His student-centered approach emphasizes personal vision, values, and goals, helping students achieve fulfilling careers.
Previously, Seth served as the Director of Design at Danny Forster & Architecture in New York, where he led high-profile projects and cultivated relationships with prominent clients in the entertainment industry. He also founded Looper Works LLC, a global education consulting firm, and Looper Developments Inc., which focuses on developing innovative educational platforms. At Washington University in St. Louis, Seth significantly enhanced career readiness for students in art, design, and media disciplines as the Assistant Director at the Center for Career Engagement.

As Data & Systems Coordinator, Joe’s job is to take the lead on data reporting and analysis across all areas of the Center for Career Design and the management of internal career management systems. He also leads our First Destination data gathering, analysis, and reporting process.
Joe spent several years honing his customer service skills in various retail positions, before joining the Office of Student Development at Eastern University outside his home city of Philadelphia. Most recently, he worked at Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering providing administrative support for a number of faculty members.

Feruza joined the Center for Career Design in June 2025 and supports the Executive Director and the Center in office operations, scheduling, and helping in events and exploring resources for students, alumni, and internal/external partners. She has previously worked in supporting Dartmouth students at the Office of the Registrar, Student Accessibility Services, and Dining Services, and has also supported other academic offices as an undergraduate at the University of Hawaii-Manoa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UH-Manoa and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree from Dartmouth’s Guarini Graduate School. Feruza has always encouraged and promoted international education and travel opportunities for students. She studied Japanese for 14 years and attended Hokkaido University for a year, studying history and the Ainu indigenous community. Her interest in Roman cuisine and art took her to a semester at John Cabot University in Rome through Academic Programs International. Originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Feruza enjoys meeting new people, exploring languages, cultures, and ways of living through interaction and collaboration, documentaries, and period films/shows (her favorites being Versailles and Jane Austen book adaptations). At home, she loves to cook, clean, garden, draw and paint, go on long nature walks and hikes with her husband, and Facetiming with her family.

Ivie Aiwuyo is a senior passionate about visual storytelling and utilizing media as a tool to empower marginalized communities.
