Get Support: Find Guidance on Your Career Path
Looking for clarity, support, or direction in your professional journey? Dartmouth undergraduate alumni have access to tailored, one-on-one coaching grounded in Dartmouth’s life design approach.

Scheduling appointments with the Center for Career Design’s Career & Life Design Coaches is done through our career platform, Handshake, which requires an account to access. If you are a recent graduate (class of 2022 or later) you should have an existing account that you can sign in to via your NetID following these instructions. (For assistance in reclaiming your NetID or resetting your password, follow these steps from the Alumni Help Desk.)
Alumni who graduated prior to 2022 will need to register for an account in Handshake, which can be done by following these instructions. Once you are logged in, you will be able to view the availability of our Career & Life Design Coach for alumni, Leyou Belayneh, and find a time that works for you by following these steps.

Once you have created your account on Handshake, you can schedule an appointment with Leyou Belayneh, Associate Director and Career & Life Design Coach for alumni. In this appointment, you can go over:
- Career exploration and transitions
- Resume and cover letter reviews
- Job and internship search strategies
- Interview preparation
- Graduate school or fellowship planning

- Dartmouth Connect
- Find and message alumni by industry, role, or location
- Request informational interviews
- Engage with alumni mentors
- Alumni Directory and Community Groups
- Find your Dartmouth community around the world through regional clubs or our affinity and identity groups. You can also look up individual alumni via the Dartmouth Alumni Directory. If you have trouble accessing these resources, please contact the Alumni Help Desk.
